Free Old Tin Roof - Act Now
I was riding my bike down Cherry Alley this morning. There's a decent-sized pile of embossed tin roof tiles awaiting a salvager. Just to the west of 3rd Street.
I took a few for myself because they exactly match the tiles on my carriage barn's roof, but if you have a project (Shed? Chicken coop, Henhouse? Love Shack?) to recycle/use them for, get over there and grab them!
EDIT Update Sunday 5 pm. I hear they're gone already.

Hudson Walking Tour
The Tainted Lady Lounge (the long-gone bar, not the blog) gets a mention in today's Upstate Earth Blog. Check out the whole blog while you're there... a nice assortment of local explorations rich with history.
